Pops was an amazing man and treated everyone like family. So kind hearted and quite hilarious. His love and adoration for his family was so obvious and admired by anyone who encountered him. His ability to give advice and be kindly critical was a true gift. He taught many lessons to many people I’m sure. I know I learned quite a few bit the most valuable was to just be kind. He will be dearly missed as will his signature slushies. Love you pops. Thank you for the memories and sharing your family with us. They are a great group if humans you left for this world. Your work here is done. Love hugs and prayers Mamma Mary Jo, Jeanine Jules and Jade and all of the family.

So sorry for your loss. If the need in heaven for tickets for anything Bill could sell them like he did for so many years at the Coliseum at the Fairgrounds. RIP Bill.

I really enjoyed a recent conversation with Bill, he and I both were in the finance core of the US Army, he during the Korean War and me during the Vietnam War. He was the first former soldier that I had met who also was a member of the Army finance core so we had a lot to talk about. My name is also William j. as is his, I’m so glad we had this opportunity to discuss our military experiences. He will be missed by many people, he was close to his children and grandchildren and loved them all. Bill Borst
